We weren't going to get a Christmas tree as we spent Christmas at my Mum and Dads and there isn't loads of room in our apartment. However, Julian can never resist an absolute bargain and when he saw this going for £5 a couple of days before Christmas Eve, suddenly having a christmas tree was a good idea! He brought it home after I'd gone to bed so it was a lovely surprise when I got up to feed Brielle in the middle of the night and it was glittering in the dark with its (hugely oversized) star and fairy lights!

After far too long, I'm attempting to resurrect our blog. I reckon if I try to upload just one photo a day, even if I write nothing, it will be easy to keep on top of! We leave it way too long then need to spend a couple of hours doing 'catch-up'!

So this is the three of us on our first family holiday! We went to the Lake District and stayed in a friend's cottage for the weekend - lovely :)

Julian came back on Boxing day from a three week trip to Sydney for Jodie and Pete's wedding. He had a fantastic time catching up with friends and family, including meeting Aimee and Mattias for the first time and seeing the lovely (much larger!) Mya and Evie.
